Purpose: The Office Administrator plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for midweek visitors and callers, creating and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth and efficient office operations.
Accountability: The Office Administrator reports to the Pastor (Head of Staff) and serves under the authority of the Congregational Council.
POSITION STATUS: Part-Time Non-Exempt: 20 hours per week
HOURS: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 12:30pm
Responsibilities: The Office Administrator will manage the office, coordinate volunteers and staff, create a hospitable environment for all, maintain church records, and serve as a secretary for the head-of-staff, and clerical assistance congregational council.
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
EVALUATION: Performance reviews will be conducted annually by the personnel committee and the pastor.
COMPENSATION: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $15 to $17 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
